Born in Latvia, a country with a rich musical culture, Skai picked up the violin at age 5, and has since completed her studies at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire under the tutelage of renowned musicians, including Igor Bezrodny and Dmitry Shebalyn.

 

Skai has performed solo and as a member of chamber and symphonic orchestras in over 20 countries in Europe and America.

 

Winners of national and international competitions and performing orchestra members number among her students.

 

Her younger students here have been awarded at the Young Talents Project held by Radio 92.4 FM and have also been invited to perform as part of the Kids’ Philharmonic Orchestra Singapore.
