Teacher Iola started learning the piano at the tender age of 3.5 years in her home country, Indonesia.

 

She participated in national music competitions since she was 10 years old and has won several prizes as a young pianist.

 

In 2020, she graduated with a Diploma in Music Performance from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

 

Teacher Iola already has a few years of experience teaching piano before joining Asia Music School in 2021.

 

She specialises in working with young children, some as young as 2.5 years old.

 

To deepen her keen interests in working with young child, Teacher Iola attended a 16-week long course in Dalcroze Eurhythmics, exploring music in a creative and experiential way and participated in workshops on Kodaly and music pedagogy for young children.
