Haryani Haryanto, also known as Teacher Yannee, was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 1996.

 

Her musical journey began at the age of 7 when she commenced her piano lessons at a local music tuition center. With a growing interest in music, she decided to undertake the ABRSM exam in 2009, where she achieved the distinction of being featured in the High Scorers' Concert. Subsequently, she pursued her music studies at Singapore Raffles Music College in 2016. During her time in college, Haryani had the opportunity to participate in master classes offered by prestigious institutions such as Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, as well as London College of Music.

 

Additionally, she actively took part in competitions and Cultural Arts Festivals before successfully graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance from the University of West London (UWL) in 2019. Since 2019, Haryani has been dedicated to teaching at a music school in Singapore, where she has worked with students as young as 4 years old. She has guided her students in various performances and prepared them for ABRSM theory and practical exams, consistently achieving a minimum Merit result.

 

Her dedication to her students' progress is evident, and she takes great care in ensuring their growth and development. In 2023, Haryani joined the esteemed faculty at Asia Music School, where she continues to inspire and nurture her students' musical abilities, providing them with dedicated support and guidance.
