With over 9 years of teaching experience and a wealth of performance accomplishments, Teacher Faris brings passion, creativity, and expertise to the drum kit. He has guided many students to achieve Grade 8 in Trinity Rock & Pop and Rock School exams, cultivated student confidence and musicality, leading them to excel in both practical and theoretical aspects of drumming.

Faris has performed extensively across Singapore as a drummer and percussionist with renowned bands like OutCry SG, SugarRush, and Midnight Mantras, as well as for corporate and wedding events with Muziqa El Familia and Sambateria SG. A skilled session drummer, he has contributed to live performances, studio recordings, and television broadcasts, including performances on Suria’s Sinar Lebaran 2022 and Rayakustika 2024.
 

As a dedicated educator, Faris has taught full-time at Ossia Music School and privately, mentoring students from beginner to advanced levels. His certifications include the Trinity Rock & Pop Grade and Aureus Conservatory's certification in Music Education.

Faris believes that drumming goes beyond rhythm—it builds confidence, creativity, coordination, and musicality. His approach emphasizes (1) Mastering rhythm and groove (2) Enhancing motor skills and brain-muscle memory (3) Stress relief through music, and (4) Understanding dynamics in drumming to match musical styles.
